It's past 9pm and your stomach is growling. What do you reach for? Cookies? Chips? How about some almond butter or nuts! It's my favorite snack and so good for. Besides being a good source of protein most nuts provide heart-healthy substances like Omega-3 fatty acids, unsaturated fats (the good fat), and fiber. So dig in. Go for peanut butter or grab a handful of almonds. Just don't eat the whole jar or bag. In this case I grabbed a packet of Justin's Honey Almond Butter. It's portioned out and I won't be tempted to go back for more.
