A Sisterhood Beyond Radio

As I sit down to write this I don't know which way this post is going to go.  Fashion or friendship? That's easy.  Friendship it is. 

I met Ellen Tailor from KKWF, 100.7 The Wolf in Seattle in May of 2015 when I flew in from the East coast for my interview.  I remember spending the day and getting a quick Seattle tour with our then boss, Mike Preston and my friend/Assistant Program Director, Tanch.  Everything was so new to me.  I had NEVER been to Seattle and had NEVER even thought about moving here.  I had 24 hours in the rainy city.  Mike had 24 hours to convince me to take the morning show gig on KHTP, Hot 103.7.  I will admit after flying cross country and only seeing clouds I wasn't completely sold.  I mean I like the sun!  Then walks in Ellen.  She greated me with a smile and approved of my outfit so I knew instantly we'd be good friends.  There we sat in Mike's office and we instantly bonded.  She kept it real.  What was I going to love about Seattle and what was I going to hate.  She gave me a women's perspective.  And on top of it she was Greek and I was Portuguese.  Could it get any better?  Well yes.  We talked about the fashion in Seattle, the dating life, and shoes.  Oh boy do we love shoes.  Something clicked and fast forward a year and a half later and BOOM!  A sisterhood that can not be broken.  Yes we disagree about things.  Yes we have our opinions, but at the end of the day we've got each other.  A sisterhood.  Isn't that what sisters do?  I mean maybe I can start borrowing her shoes?  Just an idea.  Lol.  So here we stand exactly as stated above, "Tailor Made" and "Deanna Approved", yup I'd have to say that pretty much sums us up: Unique and Opinionated.  Can't get more real than that.
